About

It's random

I'm a former broadcaster turned web developer. 20 years on the radio prepared me for.. ummm.. will think on that.

I got my start in the web biz while working in radio back when websites were still pretty new. We're talking pre-Y2K. :-|

It was new and cool, I had an interest and management needed to find something for me to do after I signed off my morning show 9:00 AM (Reports stated I was a disruptive influence in the office. Greatly exaggerated.)

Web development

All the code you need, none you don't

I write code and build in the browser.

HTML, CSS and JavaScript and the odd API.

What I do

Great websites should be well designed and functional, provide anticipated, quality content, be easy to navigate on computers and mobile devices and provide a clear call to action.

Other must haves: easy to find via search, adherance to web standards, speedy-quick performance, security and respectful of users/visitors privacy.

That's my jam.

Related offerings

I also provide IT administration services for a number of small businesses and nonprofits. On-site training is available in email systems and administration, productivity software, cloud computing, privacy and cybersecurity. Ask me about open source offerings. They are all the rage. Really.

Photography, some graphic design and audio production services are also in the toolbox.

Duty Now For The Future*

I manage change. I've seen a lot of it and I don't have to tell you more is coming.

While much of this web business continues to evolve, devolve or whatever, there is one constant: good people need to reach others for business reasons, to inform and/or entertain. We find that target audience and deliver the goods. It's what I do. Just like my days on the radio.

I'm looking for interesting projects and I'd love to hear from you!

*Inspired by the DEVO album of the same name.
